Warrane College is an affiliated residential College accommodating 140 men within the University of New South Wales (UNSW). UNSW is consistently ranked as one of the Australia’s leading international universities and attracts superior students from Australia and overseas. UNSW is a member of the Group of Eight, a coalition of Australia’s leading research universities and of Universitas 21, an active network of internationally competitive research-intensive universities. The College is located on Anzac Parade, Kensington, in the south-western corner of the UNSW campus, only a few minutes walk from university sporting facilities, shops and restaurants. Buses to the Sydney’s CBD, airport and other major centres depart from the front of College. The College’s facilities are housed in a modern eight-storey building. All residential bedrooms and bathrooms as well as dining and kitchen facilities were renovated in 2002-03. The remaining common areas and offices are due to be renovated by June 2008.
